From the very first day he started making pizzas, John knew that he could definitely make a much better pizza simply by using fresh pizza dough combined with superior, high-quality ingredients and has always refused to waver from this dedication to quality. In 1984 John opened up his very first Papa John's pizza restaurant and since that time people have always loved his pizza and now there are more than 3500 Papa John's restaurants in all of the 50 states.
